Dell’s Alienware The division likes to position its play equipment as cool for the players. And now it cools with liquid-cooled graphics for its latest high-end gaming equipment.
Alienware’s laptops and gaming hardware always push the envelope, and now it offers its latest cooling technology to ensure its machines can run at high speeds while playing high-end games.
The range includes the Alienware Area-51m, which the company calls the world’s most powerful gaming laptop. It is based on the Legend industrial design, with scalable and overclockable processors and desktop graphics. It sports a new 10th generation Intel Core S processor with 10 cores and 20 threads that operates up to 5.3 GHz with an increase in thermal speed.
It has Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling technology to increase air flow and improve performance. Cooling technology has a honeycomb air intake panel above the keyboard, larger fan blades and feet for better elevation. It has a new vapor chamber cooling design and hyper-efficient voltage regulation up to 12 phases on certain configurations to help maintain power levels for uninterrupted marathon gaming sessions.
It also has AMD Radeon RX graphics card options. The laptop has a 17-inch UHD screen with a high refresh rate FHD panel, with options up to 300 Hz.
The keyboard has a 1.7 mm key stroke, N-key rollover technology and fully customizable RGB LED key lighting. It is available June 9 with a starting price of $ 3,050. For a closer look at the new Alienware Area-51m laptop, check it out at the Alienware Arena.
Alienware m15 and m17 laptops
Alienware also unveils the Alienware m15 / m17 – thin, powerful gaming laptops that prioritize gaming performance and a slim profile. And it introduces the Alienware Aurora, an esports desktop computer, now available with new graphics liquid cooling technology.
Combined with the fastest 10th generation Intel Core H mobile processors, this generation m15 / m17 is unlocked for overclocking on i9-10980HK processors. The m15 and m17 also feature the Alienware Cryo-tech cooling design. It has HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation technology to maintain high power levels over the long term.
The m17 player also achieves maximum graphics performance with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q graphics cards. The m15 / m17 models have up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, a Micro-SD and Thunderbolt 3 media card reader capable of quickly loading PD, as well as new internal graphics options for higher frames per second (Nvidia GeForce GPU or AMD Radeon) and color options, including Dark Side of the Moon and Lunar Light (which are now formulated with a new transparent High Endurance coating for advanced stain resistance).
The latest version is available on May 21 with a starting price of $ 1,500 (for the 15-inch screen) and $ 1,550 (for the 17-inch screen).
Alienware Aurora Desktop
Alienware pioneered the first liquid-cooled desktop computer in 2004, and now presents its first PCI-e liquid cooling graphics on the Alienware Aurora. It is available with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card and will offer a temperature reduction of 19.5% and noise reduction of up to 69.2%. With this new addition, players can now get liquid-cooled processors and liquid-cooled graphics.
Designed for tool-less upgrades, Aurora now eases the fragmentation of competition with the 10th generation Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, HyperX FURY XMP DDR4 memory and optional 1000-watt power supply. The machine has options for scalable configurations for overclockers, and it has a new ambient lighting ring that adds a fully customizable 4th AlienFX lighting area on Lunar Light models.
It is now available from $ 1,130.
Alienware also has a new Alienware 25 game monitor that works at 360 Hz. Finally, for our budget-conscious gamers, Dell has also updated the Dell G3 15 and G5 15 from $ 780.
